Vintage 1950s Fit & Flare Dress for Women - Retro Swing Dress with Pockets | Perfect for Cocktail Parties, Weddings & Themed Events

I love this dress. The fabric for the body is very stretchy...like really stretchy. It was nice and fitted, but not tight. Based off the size chart, I chose to go up a size for it to fit the way I like. I like the how the sleeves are a little poofy. The sleeves do not have any stretch to them. The bow is cute, but when tied it does not look as full as the one in the picture. This fabric does seem to need to be ironed after washing. I put it in the washer on delicate and then put it in the dryer for about 5 minutes. I let it air dry the rest of the way and it came out perfect. I feel like it did need to ironed to look nice. The pockets are large and I love that. I am 5'3 and the dress was about 2 inches below my knees. I like this dress so much that I already ordered another color.I'm in love this dress and I'm always receiving compliments on how cute it is! It's true to size, fits just right and doesn't pinch in any sort of way. It's great to wear for special occasions or just for any day use. I will be buying more of these dresses in different patterns in the future.!The fabric is a bit stretchy. This allows you to move and breath comfortably. Additionally this dress is a great length, below the knee. This is a great work dress!Little concerned about hang to dry and hopeful that I can remove the creases in the skirt, but overall very happy with purchase.I love the dress but it’s too big. Not the manufactures fault. I usually wear 1x but I didn’t know if the sizing was based on American, European, or Asian sizes so I ordered 2 sizes up. I’m 5’1” and 198 lbs. Apparently, a 3x is too big. The skirt is sooo large, I had to wear TWO petty coats beneath it just so it didn’t drag. Love it but will try to return it for a smaller size. If you’re reading this, just order your regular size and you’ll be fine.Love this dress! Wish it was cold year round to get more use. Only wish I’d known it had that fabric that gives so I could have sized down. It is adorable and comfy. I believe I got a size large.I ordered 2 of these dresses in a small and they fit perfectly! The fabric is really comfortable, and the pockets have plenty of space for things like your phone. Definitely recommendThis dress is as pictured and the way it fits is fantastic.
